860/861
Incremental
The 860/861 is a size 25, housed encoder with resolutions of up to 10,000 cycles per revolution (40,000 measuring steps or transitions) with an integral fiberoptic link. The communication grade fiberoptic cable insures noise-free transmission of the encoder signals, immune to EMI, RFI, lightning, etc. The 860 is transmit only while the 861 can be daisy-chained up to four units per single cable.
The receiver is housed in the backshell of a DB-25
connector. The outputs are compatible with PLC controllers, both in the 5 V and
8 - 15 V supply mode (RS 422 and DIN 66259 part 3 compatible). The encoders can
be locally powered from 8 V to 30 V, polarity and overvoltage protected.
Complete details and specifications are available from the PDF File.
860-4096/3600GC
12 Bit Absolute
The 860-4096/3600GC is a 12 bit absolute encoder with an integral fiberoptic link. The communication grade fiberoptic cable insures noise-free transmission of the encoder signals, immune to EMI, RFI, lightning, etc. In addition, substantial savings are realized over the use of parallel, multi-conductor cables and connectors without sacrificing real-time operation. The encoders can be locally powered from 8 V to 30 V, polarity and overvoltage protected.
The receiver is housed in the backshell of a DB-25
connector. The outputs are compatible with PLC controllers, both in the 5 V and
8 - 15 V supply mode (RS 422 and DIN 66259 part 3 compatible).
Complete details and specifications are available from the PDF File.
1012
Fiberoptic
Transceiver
The 1012 is an asynchronous fiberoptic transceiver which will transmit 12 independent digital signals over a single fiberoptic cable or a single twisted pair without the need for a clock signal. The unit consists of completely seperate receiver and transmitter sections which can be wired to allow "daisy-chaining" of data from different locations.
In fiberoptic mode the transmission is noise-free and immune to EMI, RFI, lightning strikes, etc. Cables, cut to length and terminated, are factory available. The twisted pair mode is a cost effective solution in less noisy environments or for higher transmission speeds.
Unit is available as a low cost PC Board or packaged within
the backshell of a DB-25 connector.
